Written and Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, 'Gunday' is an action romantic drama movie starring Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor in lead. The first look teaser trailer of the film is out in stores, and seems like it is definitely going to be one hard-hitting era-film in Bollywood. The teaser-promo starts with the voice-over of versatile actor Irrfan Khan, who explains something about border lined between the countries. He then narrates how India and Bangladesh were separated, wherein most of Indians were forced to stay on the other side and became refugees. The first look of the movie then tells the audience in a majestic way about the story of two men, Bikram and Bala, played by Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor respectively. 'Gunday' is a story of 2 boys - where the boys who became refugees, refugees who became gun couriers, gun couriers who became coal bandits, and the coal bandits who became Calcutta's most loved, most celebrated, most reckless, most fearless, and most powerful 'Gunday'. The backdrop of the film is set in the 70's and 80's era of Calcutta. Both Ranveer and Arjun are essaying the roles of strong and sinister black marketing men from the mafia. Also starring Priyanka Chopra and others in their respective roles, the movie is slated to release in theatres on February 14, 2014.
